GREAT Web sites in Health and Physical Education

This site is the result of efforts by undergraduate majors in health education at Concordia College, Moorhead, MN.  It was originally developed by students enrolled in two courses:  Health 220 - Introduction to Health Education and Health Promotion, and Health 386 - Elementary and Secondary Health Methods during the 2001-02 school year.  Students used evaluation criteria to rate web sites in six areas:  Professional Organizations, Lesson Planning, General Health Information, Health Risk Appraisals, Health Agencies, and Federal and State Initiatives.  The process used to develop this site was described in a presentation made at the Central District AAHPERD Convention in Rapid City, SD in February of 2002.
