Career Highlights
- June 21, 2002 Wins the USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a throw of 64.44m (211-05). It is the first time that she has won the event at the USA Championships.

- 2001 Ranked 12th in the IAAF World Discus Rankings

- 2001 Ranked 2nd in the United Stes in the Discus

- August 10, 2001 Kris Kuehl finishes 8th at the World Championships in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It is the first time she qualifies for the finals in a World or Olympic games competition. Her preliminary throw of  (62.63m) 205'5" was the sixth best in the preliminary round. She went on to throw (61.04m) 200'3" in the finals, which placed her eighth in the event.

- September 25, 2000 Kris Kuehl competes in the Sydney Olympics. Her preliminary throw of (59.45m), 195-0 fails to qualify her for the finals.

- July 17, 2000 Kris Kuehl qualifies for the 2000 Olympic Games to be held in Sydney, Australia. Her throw of 202' 7" placed her third in the competition. It is the first time that Kuehl has qualified for the Olympic games.

- July 16-17, 2000 Kris Kuehl heads into the Olympic trials as the number one qualifier with a throw of 214' 4". That distance is the best by an American athlete in 2000.

- August 21, 1999 Kris Kuehl competes at the 1999 World Championships in Seville, Spain. Her preliminary throw of (55.77) 182' 11" places her 30th at the competition.

- June 27, 1999 Kris Kuehl qualified in the discus for the 1999 World Championships by finishing 2nd at the USA Track Championships in Eugene, Oregon, with a throw of 199-3.  The 1999 World Championships will be held in Seville, Spain August 21-27.

- 1998, 4th best mark by an American - 63.26m (207'6")

- 1998 United States Track and Field Outdoor Championships (New Orleans, LA) - 2nd, 61.28m (201'0")

- 1998 Goodwill Games (Uniondale, New York) - 3rd place, 61.84m (202'11")
