5/25-27 NCAA Division III Outdoor Nationals
         @ North Central College- Naperville, Ill.

5/25 Maria DeBoer finishes 8th in nation in the Discus. 
Concordia's Maria DeBoer (Sr., Pine Island) finished 8th in the Discus at the NCAA National Meet today. Her throw of 136' 1" in the prelims qualified  her for the final where she finished with the same distance. It is the third straight year she has earned All-American status in the Discus. Mariah Mougey (Fr., Enderlin, ND) did not qualify for the finals as her best throw in the prelims was 128' 3".

5/22 Concordia qualifies 3 athletes for 5 events at the NCAA National Meet. 
Representing Concordia at the NCAA Division III track meet will be: Maria DeBoer (Sr., Pine Island) in the Discus and Shot Put, Sara Grineski (Jr., Moorhead) in the 100 & 400 Meter Hurdles and Mariah Mougey (Fr., Enderlin, ND) in the Discus.

5/17 Concordia's Sara Grineski (Jr., Moorhead) was chosen for the MIAC Most Outstanding Performance for her performance in the 100 hurdles (14.27) at the MIAC Outdoor Meet. Grineski finished first among five MIAC 100 hurdlers that all broke the MIAC meet record and qualified automatically for the NCAA championship.

5/13 Cobbers finish second at MIAC Outdoor Championships.
Concordia's Sarah Grineski (Jr., Moorhead) broke the MIAC record and the Concordia school record in the 100 Meter Hurdles. Her time of 14.27, in an outstanding final, crushed the mark she set on Friday. Her time automatically qualifies her for the NCAA Championship meet. Grineski also finished second in the 400 Meter Hurdles. The team finished second, paced by performances from Maria DeBoer who finished second in the Shot Put and third in the Discus. Margaret Cropp finished second in the Javelin. Third place finishers were Karyn Senst in the Hammer Throw, Heidi Brenden in the 800, Katie Martin in the 5000 and Jen Fettig in the Pole Vault . Fettig's Pole Vault mark, 10'6", is a new school record and bested the old record by over a  foot. 

5/12 Cobbers lead after first day of MIAC Outdoor Championships
Concordia's Sara Grineski broke the MIAC record in the 100 Meter Hurdles with a time of 14.55. She will be seeded first in tomorrow's finals. The team jumped out to a 19 point lead with one day remaining in the conference meet.

None of the Cobbers advanced to the finals Friday. 

Three Cobbers qualified for nationals, Sara Grineski in the 55 Hurdles (seeding 12th with 8.49 sec), Maria DeBoer in the Weight Throw (15th, 48-9) and Karyn Senst (14th, 49-1), also in the Weight Throw.
