Running Cobbers Post 21-6 Record Breaking Season, Capture MIAC Playoff Title and Advance to NCAA Tourney

The 1995-96 Cobber men's basketball team won the MIAC Playoff Championship Title with a 47-43 win at Gustavus on Feb. 24. The win gave the Cobbers a 21-5 season record and the MIAC's automatic bid into their first ever NCAA tournament. The NCAA then repaired the Cobbers and Gusties in St. Peter for the first round of the NCAA Division III tournament.
