Jeremy Hinderks (Sr., Renville, Minn./R-C-W HS) was named to the All-Midwest Second Team, while Ryan Hebrink (Sr., Sacred Heart, Minn./R-C-W HS) and Luther Kangas (Sr., Vadnais Heights, Minn./White Bear lake HS) were placed on the All-Midwest Third Team. It is the second consecutive year that Hinderks and Hebrink have been recognized with All-Region honors. Last season Hinderks was also named to All-Region Second Team, while Hebrink earned All-Region Honorable Mention honors. Kangas

The trio of senior players helped Concordia to a second place finish in the MIAC regular season and a berth in the four-team conference tournament. The postseason appearance was the third time in four years that the Cobbers have participated in the MIAC playoffs. Concordia finished the season 22-15 overall and 14-6 in the MIAC. The Cobbers finished the regular season by winning 15 of their last 18 games. At one point, Concordia was 0-3 in the league and 7-10 overall. Their midseason turnaround was sparked by a school-record 12-game winning streak. With their 22 overall wins, Concordia has won 46 games in the past two seasons, which is the third highest total in the MIAC during that time.

Earlier in the month Hinderks was named the MIAC Pitcher of the Year, becoming the first pitcher in school history to win MIAC Pitcher of the Year honors since the award was instituted in 1998. Hinderks also earned all-conference honors for the second consecutive season. He had another dominant year as the teamís number one starting pitcher. Hinderks posted an 8-5 overall record and finished the year with a 2.33 ERA. He led the team in wins, ERA and strikeouts (65). His 92.2 innings pitched during the entire year is a new school record for most innings pitched in a single season. He also finished his career with the second highest total in school history in innings pitched. Hinderks finished his four years with 217.1 innings pitches, second only to Howard Berglund's 225.2 innings. Hinderks also tied Berglund for most career wins. The pair both amassed 22 victories in their storied careers. Finally, Hinderks set a school record for most appearances in a career. His 55 total appearances broke the old school mark of 52 held by Derek Dormanen ('03).

Like Hinderks, Hebrink was also named to MIAC All-Conference Team for the second consecutive year. Hebrink set a new school record for home runs in a single season in 2004. He clouted 11 roundtrippers this season and finished with 30 on his career. Both are Concordia records. Hebrink also set a school record for RBI's in a career. He finished with 119 in his four years, surpassing Chris Coste's mark of 110.

He tied for the team lead in hits (38), home runs, total bases (80) and slugging percentage (.690). He was also second on the team in runs scored (28) and RBI's (30). He also tied with Hinderks for the team lead in saves (3). As a pitcher, he finished the season with a 1-0 record and a 4.22 ERA.

Kangas ends his Cobber career by being named to the all-region team after he collected all-conference honors for the first time in his career. He was the anchor of the team's defense as the starting catcher, a role he assumed early in the season. He ended up playing in 34 of the team's 36 games. He led the team in hitting with a .349 average. That mark is over 100 points higher from last season and up 75 points from his career average. He also led the team in RBI's (38) and finished tied for the lead in hits (38). Kangas was second in slugging percentage (.578),  third in home runs (5) and total bases (63).
